WHICH LPG CONVERSION

While many automotive gas systems installed in the early 1990s remain the classic mixer-type systems, they are being permanently replaced by more efficient multi-point systems, often incorporating sequential injection technology.
This is necessary so that the LPG industry can keep abreast of the major advances made by car manufacturers who are developing vehicles that comply with the latest Euro III/IV /V ET IV emission standards for petrol engines.
The relatively coarse mixture control of early single point systems is no longer able to achieve the low emission levels required for today’s much cleaner petrol engines and also causes many engine control lighting problems on all new vehicles equipped with EOBD (On-Board Diagnostics) mixture control systems. Multi-point systems offer other crucial advantages: No performance restrictions.
The installation of a mixer on the throttle body with single-point systems considerably reduces the volume of air that can circulate . A calculation of a typical mixing ring for a Range Rover 4.6 confirms a massive 70% reduction in opening area! with the risk of costly flashback.
Even the best installation of single point technology cannot guarantee that the system will not backfire.
The principle of mixing gas and air at the throttle body means that the plenum chamber and intake manifold will also be charged with the explosive mixture on the way to the cylinders, not just the air for which the engine was designed. It only takes a vacuum leak in the manifold or a spark plug or HT lead problem to cause the system to start counterclockwise, often resulting in damage to the air filter housing or the vehicle’s air flow meter.

We believe it is our job to provide you with sufficient information to make your own decision about the choice of an LPG kit with a high-tech sequential multipoint injection system, such as the Zenit kits sold by the LPG AIR representative in France and by AG Centrum, the LPG kit manufacturer in Poland.
We will be happy to guide you to an AIRGPL network installer to install the system you choose. Do not hesitate to contact us by email installateurgpl@gmail.com.
